Hello everyone! A few months ago, I was at a thrift store and I found something really cool!
A mini Kit doll!!! I found her in a little container with a bunch of random dolls in it. She had a $2.00 tag on her, but I didn't have any money with me and my sister only had a few quarters. So, I took the $2.00 tag off it and I went up to the counter and asked how much she was. And the lady said 25 cents!!! Lol, so yeah, I got a mini kit doll for 25 cents! Isn't that awesome?!!
She has such a cute little face! I don't really care for the name Kit, so I renamed her Lilly! So, everyone, meet mini Lily! ;)
Her hair was in really good condition, besides a bunch of fly-aways and I fixed most of them.
I made her this cute little skirt and shirt a few days ago! I made my own pattern for the t-shirt and it only took tries to get right, which was awesome! For the skirt, I just used some scraps. I'm really happy I have a mini doll now, because I can save all my little scraps and make her cute tiny clothes! Mini doll clothes are really hard to make though, so I don't know how many things I will be making for her.
She was also a little dirty, but I cleaned her up. She still has little black marks on the tips of her fingers, toes, and nose, so I'll have to figure out how to fix that.
She's so cute! :)
