Pretty Doll Hair Flower Tutorial!!!

Hello there! So, the other day, I was racking my brain for some post ideas and I thought of this! My little sister has some hair flowers just like this and I thought they were so cute and I wanted to make some for my dolls! This is super easy and fun to make, so lets get started! :)

You will need:
A hot glue gun
Relatively thin fabric of your choice
Scissors
A thick piece of fabric the size of a quarter (the color of this should coordinate with the color of your other fabric.
A small hair clip of some sort

First cut out a rectangle of your thin material.

Fold it in half.

Cut out a shape like this.

Unfold it and you should have a five petaled flower shape. Be sure not to make these too small. You can always make them smaller if you make them too big, but you can't make them bigger if you make them too small. I can't really think of something they should be the size of, but the closest thing I could think of was that they should be the size of the bottom circle part of a cupcake/muffin pan. Cut out five of these flowers.

Place a small drop of hot glue in the center of the flower, and fold it in half.

It doesn't have to be folded exactly in half. I kind of folded mine to the side a little, but still in half, if that makes any sense!

Then, place a drop of hot glue in the center and fold it in half again.

Glue it onto your quarter sized piece of thick material.

This is what it should look like by now.

Repeat those steps four times until your flower looks like this.

Make one more piece and glue it onto the center.

It should look something like this after you do this.

Lastly, glue your hair clip on. Now you are done and have an adorable little flower clip for your dolls hair!

I just love how this turned out and I hope some of you guys will try it! :)

I did a little photoshoot of Claire, but I'm going to save that for Friday! I hope you liked the tutorial!
Thanks so much for reading!
