Super easy doll sized pullover sweater tutorial!!!

Hi everyone! I'm super sorry about not posting on Saturday or Monday! I was extremely busy, and by the time I had time to do anything doll related, it was dark outside. This week, my posting schedule will be a little different. I'm going to post today (Tuesday) and Thursday, instead of Wednesday and Friday. Anyways, today, I will be showing you guys how to make this super easy pullover sweater for your doll! I hope you like it! :)

All you need is a pair of scissors, a sewing machine, and an old pair of socks. The socks need to be a big size, like your dads old socks, and they need to be the long kind, not ankle socks.

First, cut off the toe to the sock like shown.

Then, cut off the part right above the heel.

By now, you should have a piece like this. Cut two holes near the top for arm holes. Make sure the armholes are not too big.

Cut the edge off the end of one of your socks, like shown.

Cut the back of the sock open and cut a slit down one side of the cuff off. Sew it onto the top edge of your sock.

Flip it up and it should look like this.

Next, cut a slit up the sides on both armholes.

Get your other sock, and cut the heel and toe off.

Then, cut that part in half.

Get the left over part of your first sock, and cut two equal parts of the top part off. They should each be about 1 1/2 inches wide.

Cut a slit up one side of each of those.

Fold them in half, wrong side to wrong side, and sew them onto the edges of the sleeves.

When you fold it down, it should look like this.

Then, sew the sleeves onto the armholes, good side to good side.

Sew the arms and the sides of the sweater together, good side to good side. Flip it right side out.

Take the top of your second sock and cut the edge off, like shown. Cut a slit up one side.

Sew it onto the bottom edge of your sweater.

Fold it down, and your sweater should now look like this.

Now, obviously the back is still open, so you are going to take the big leftover piece of sock you have left and cut the leftover heel off of it.

Fold the top and bottom edges under once and sew them down. My stitches are really messy on this part because the sock was really stretchy and hard to sew.

Then, sew that part into the back of the sweater, and you are done!

I did a little photoshoot of Kanani wearing the sweater! I hope you like it! :)

I just finished sewing these skinny pants! They are not actually the color they look on the camera, they're really a medium purple color. Anyways, the fabric is a floral courderoy material and I got it from an old pair of pants that we had laying around. I'm not sure if I like it. What do you think?! :)

I think that this sweater turned out really well, despite being made from recycled socks.

This is Kanani's hairstyle! Do you like it? Does anybody want a tutorial on it?! :)

Thanks for reading!
