Hair Bow Tutorial!

Hey everyone! Today I am going to teach you how to make a hairbow for your doll! I hope you guys like this tutorial! :)

Here is what the bow will look like when you're finished.

You will need:
Fabric
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Sewing machine or needle and thread
Mini bobby pin or and hair clip

Start by cutting a piece of fabric that is 4 inches wide and 7 inches long.

Fold it in half, good side to good side, and sew or hot glue the long edges together.

Flip it right side out and place the line where you sewed or hot glued in the center

Fold it in half, good side to good side, and sew or hot glue down the short sides.

Flip that right side out and place the line where you sewed or hot glued in the center.

Cut a piece about 1 inch wide and 3 inches long.

Fold one side in about 1/2 an inch.

Then fold the other side it about 1/2 an inch.

You can hot glue it down if you like.

Next, fold your bow how you like.

And wrap your other piece around the middle, holding it in the back.

It should look like this in the back.

Cut one of the long pieces off and glue it to the back.

Now glue your bobby pin or hair clip on.

Slide the other long piece in between your bobby pin or hair clip, pulling it as tight as you like.

Cut off the long part, leaving about 1/2 an inch sticking up.

Fold and glue the edge down.

And glue the rest down. Now you're done!

Here are a few photos of McKenna modeling the bow.
